In the Old Northside we are known for many things, and one is that we love to create community. A Winter Light 2020 showed this high level of community involvement with a record 23 light competition entries, 53 neighbors placing luminaries out
in front of their homes totaling almost 1000 individual candles, the lighting of the Historic Landmarks Center tower, and luminaries surrounding the Benjamin Harrison Presidential house!
Also, we are happy to announce with everyone’s involvement, this year’s Winter Lights event raised $4,500 (after expenses) to fund the parks in the Old Northside. We would like to finally thank all of the event sponsors and our candle level sponsor The Chanda Johnson Team with Plat Collective. The Old Northside Foundation was very excited and thankful to see everyone’s involvement with this year’s event!
