The Old Northside’s favorite and sorely missed pirate bash will begin anew this year, after last year's hiatus! However, instead of our favorite scallywags dragging their pirate carcasses (costumes) out in the sweltering heat of July, the Plunder committee has moved the event to October 23!
The event will still be held at the Great Oak Commons Park where we will have live music, food trucks, and a drink tent to make sure all of the pirates can wet their whistle. This year we will have the great pleasure of presenting the winner of the 2021 Wreath of Davey Jones pirate wreath competition in person, and we will also have a shoutout for the 2020 Wreath of Davey Jones winner.
There are still many details to be worked out and want to be sure the date is saved in your calendar as it is sure to be an event with good bands, food, drink and of course the good company of our neighbors! So, be on the lookout for more information about the third Plunder in the Park event on our website www.oldnorthside.org…
