It was a beautiful evening for neighbors and pastries on Thursday June 2 as the Old Northside hosted its first ONS Night at the Gallery. In partnership with Gallery Pastry leadership, the ONS sold tickets for the event and raised just over $1300 to support the Old Northside Foundation. The funds raised will go to support the neighborhood parks that are maintained by our neighborhood Foundation.
Over 50 neighbors attended the event. In attendance included neighbors who have lived in the ONS for over 30 years and neighbors who had only lived in the ONS for one week. It was lovely to see neighbors enjoying one another's company, especially in the beautiful space of the Gallery on 16th. Thank you to the ONS Membership Committee who helped coordinate the event and to our event volunteers Holly and Michael Davis and Julie and Dylan Jutte.
Guests enjoyed delicious appetizers, refreshing beverages, and famous Gallery pastries. The owner of Gallery, Alison Keefer, welcomed neighbors and said a few words about their excitement to be located in the neighborhood. She also mentioned they will have extended hours on Friday and Saturdays and many fun events taking place this summer. Check out Gallery’s social media handles for additional information.
We encourage you to check out additional events coming up for ONS neighbors including, the following:
