The leaves are about to being changing and the days growing longer. In the Old Northside we are known for our history, community, and fun, but we are also known to be very service minded. Along with the many different neighborhood improvement efforts of the past and those that carry on into the future, we also have a powerful clean streak! Twice a year as a neighborhood we come together and have donuts and coffee at the Great Oak Commons and then fan out and clean up our streets, alleys, and roadside plantings. Join us September 24th 9am-12pm at the Great Oak Commons, 1427 N Park Ave., and help us to carry on the tradition! Once we gather at the park we will have donuts and coffee and then fan out to one of the four neighborhood cleanup zones. So, if you see your house is in one of the zones and want to join in the cleanup fun, we will be glad to see you at the commons!
