The Old Northside Neighborhood Association created a Land Use Committee (LUC) to review all Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission (IHPC) applications for a Certificate of Appropriateness or Authorization within the neighborhood which require an IHPC hearing.
IHPC applicants are encouraged to meet with the LUC before submitting an application to IHPC. This allows the LUC to assist applicants and facilitate the process.
Interested Neighbors are encouraged to participate to show support or express concerns. The meeting is in the All Saints Parrish Building in the lower level. This is on the north side the church and the door faces Central Avenue.
The committee can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
Due to COVID-19, this event has been postponed. Stay tuned for a new date.
Plunder in the Park is a fundraising event that will help us maintain our two neighborhood parks; Shawn Grove Park and Great Oak Commons, as well as the Central Avenue art installations. Every year, the Old Northside Foundation invests roughly $25,000 in maintenance alone, but this does not include needed and desired improvements.
This year, Plunder in the Park will include beer/wine, food and live music.
Plunder in the Park provides an excellent opportunity to showcase our neighborhood parks and connect neighbors and businesses. We need your support to make this event happen! Become a sponsor and support The Old Northside Foundation in maintaining one of our greatest assets and continuing community development. Check out the different sponsor levels here. The Old Northside Foundation is a 501(c)3 committed to the long-term sustainability of Old Northside and the downtown area.
